Program Overview
AspiringGolfer.com is developing a program
with the stated objective of providing its valuable
membership service to every junior golfer who wants
it. This will be accomplished in two ways. The first
is that AspiringGolfer.com will make memberships available
in bulk to all not-for-profit junior golf organizations
at a steeply discounted rate. The second is that AspiringGolfer.com
will work, with the help of each not-for-profit organization,
to secure funding from outside sponsors (corporations,
individuals) to pay for the service, allowing the junior
golf organization to give its entire membership access
to the service. These sponsors will be inclined to do
so in order to support junior golf and to receive exposure
via the AspiringGolfer.com website and the website of
the junior golf organization it is sponsoring.
AspiringGolfer.com Membership
Overview
The tools provided by AspiringGolfer.com
are intended to not only help junior golfers improve
as golfers but also to teach them LIFE SKILLS such as
dedication and commitment, how to set goals for themselves,
how to create an intelligent detailed plan for getting
there, and then how to execute that plan and track their
progress. This is something that can carry over to everything
they do in life. Some of the membership features includes:
1. A complete player development system.
Tools include a golf game tracker; a
golf goal setting and tracking system; and a training/practice
program definition, scheduling, and tracking system.
Using these tools, just a few of the things a golfer
can do are:
| • |
Keep very detailed statistics on their
games and view reports to help them analyze their
strengths and weaknesses |
| • |
Set high-level goals (eg. lead high school team
in scoring ave., etc.) or detailed goals for both
game performance stats (score, GIR, putts, etc.)
and training goals (strength training time, full-swing
practice time, putting practice time, etc.). They
can then enter stats from rounds and training summary
reports and the system will compare their actual
results to their goals. |
| • |
Define all of the key elements of their training/practice
routines, define a weekly schedule, and track their
sessions through a detailed training journal. The
training journal also allows them to store all of
their lessons learned which can be both prioritized
easily and sorted based on type of training or keyword. |
| • |
Define and store their pre-shot, putting, and
warm-up routines. The mental training tool also
provides a positive mental image bank which allows
them to store every positive experience they have
by detailed category for them to recall later when
they face similar situations in competition. |

|
2. An extensive profiling and
search system to facilitate exposure to college coaches.
The profiling system not only allows juniors
to store detailed tournament results, but also allows
them to store letters of recommendations, academic notes,
and detailed information regarding their commitment,
knowledge and love of the game. One of the key aspects
of the site is that members can elect to make certain
entries (such as lessons learned, training programs,
preshot routines, etc.) public as part of their profile.
This not only allows members to share and learn from
each other, but it allows college coaches to truly get
inside a players mind and see a lot more than just tournament
results long before they can interview them and even
in much more detail.
3. A tournament scheduling system and a tournament preparation
system that helps them get ready for specific events.
4. A public journal for sharing with members,
family, friends, their experiences and golf stories.
5. A group feature which also allows members
to create and/or join groups.
Groups can easily access public entries
by other group members as well as see how each member
stacks up in all of the various statistical categories.
Custom Junior Golf Association Features
In addition to providing each of its members
an AspiringGolfer.com membership (value of $59.95/yr),
each junior golf association will receive its own section
on the AspiringGolfer.com website. As part of this section,
people will be able to search for and review the AspiringGolfer.com
profiles of all of the participating association members.
Association administrators will also have access to
a special tool custom designed to allow the organization
to post tournament schedules, results, and tee times
to their AspiringGolfer.com section if they wish to
do so. They will also be able to post general messages
to all of their participating members’ accounts.
